What you’ll do

  • You will be at the forefront of attracting and recruiting some of the most interesting talent—from IT engineers and developers to remote operators (captains). Your role is crucial in building the workforce that will drive Seafar’s ambitious growth and innovation.

And, honestly, you’ll probably be able to write job vacancies way better than I’m doing right now. So, bonus points for that! 😉

What you’ll own

  • Building and nurturing a strong candidate pipeline to attract, hire, and retain high-quality talent

  • Managing every stage of the hiring process—from sourcing and identifying candidates to conducting in-depth screenings

  • Engaging with potential candidates for current and upcoming roles to create a positive candidate experience

  • Providing timely updates and feedback to hiring managers, HR, and candidates throughout the recruitment journey

  • Strategically planning and executing hiring initiatives that align with Seafar’s growth and scaling goals

  • Overseeing the full hiring cycle, including contracts, onboarding, and employee setup when a candidate is hired

  • Collaborate closely with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop workforce planning strategies

  • Analyze recruitment metrics to continuously improve sourcing strategies and reduce time-to-hire

  • Lead employer branding efforts to position Seafar as an employer of choice in the tech and innovation sector

  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to optimize candidate sourcing

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest talent acquisition trends and tools to keep Seafar ahead in the competitive market

Job requirements

Does this sounds like you?

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including a proven track record in tech recruitment

  • You understand the full funnel: from sourcing and candidate experience to employer reputation and engagement

  • Fluency in Dutch and English—any additional European languages (French) are a big plus

  • You have great communication and storytelling skills—you know how to make a brand feel human

  • You’re familiar with employer branding tools and platforms (e.g. LinkedIn campaigns, social media, job boards)

  • You can translate company culture into content that attracts the right people

  • You’re not just creative—you’re also strategic, and you know how to tailor messaging to different audiences

  • The ability to work structured and logically, even under pressure

  • You’re proactive, organized, and comfortable working across departments

  • You’re eager to learn, experiment, and try new ways to position Seafar as an employer of choice
