Seafar is a tech company and Belgian pioneer in innovative technologies for the maritime sector. We develop and integrate advanced remote operations for inland shipping & coastal shipping.

Your daily adventure:

You accelerate our growth in the Netherlands. Thanks to your sharp commercial instinct, you develop and maintain strategic partnerships and expand our customer portfolio. You will proactively seek out new opportunities, using your drive to open the right doors and close deals that contribute to our expansion. A sustainable approach is your key to success.

You build strong relationships with ship owners, shipping companies, installers and logistics partners. Guiding customers to the right solution takes no effort on your part. Following up and working with our technical team to make implementations run smoothly is something you do with a smile.

You will actively contribute to the development and implementation of our sales strategy in the Netherlands and join forces with the commercial team in Antwerp. You will represent Seafar at events, trade shows and meetings, where you will convincingly bring our innovative technologies to the attention of the public.

As the face of Seafar in the Netherlands, you work from Rotterdam together with the team in Belgium & Germany to translate our vision and technology into commercial successes. Meanwhile, you keep your finger on the pulse of the market, analyze trends and report insights and strategic recommendations to the management team. In this way you help ensure that Seafar continues to drive change.

Job requirements

Your profile:

âś… A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.

âś…Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the technology or SaaS sector.

âś…Experience in inland navigation or maritime sector not a requirement but an advantage.

âś…A born strategist making developing a sales strategy child's play.

âś…Team player with a solution-oriented mindset.

âś…Embodies and breathes our 5 core values (innovation, customer focus, quality, perseverance & growth).

âś…Fluency in Dutch & English is a must (other languages are a plus).

âś…Regular travel & spending one day a week at our headquarters in Antwerp is not a problem.

âś…Possesses the ability to present complex technological solutions understandably.
