Marketing Specialist
- Antwerpen, Belgium
- Sales & Marketing
To accelerate our growth, we’re hiring our first dedicated marketing profile.
Job description
Seafar is building the future of remote operations in maritime. Our technology enables vessels to be navigated remotely and supports the journey toward safer, more efficient shipping and, over time, crew reduction. To accelerate our growth, we’re hiring our first dedicated marketing profile.
You’ll take ownership of our marketing foundations and execution: strengthening our website, creating content that explains our innovative product clearly, and building thought leadership that earns trust with shipowners, partners, and the broader maritime ecosystem.
What you’ll do
own and improve our website content, structure and conversion flows (landing pages, product pages, case studies, basic SEO)
plan and run our social media presence (especially LinkedIn), with a consistent posting rhythm and clear messaging
create content end-to-end: interviews, writing, editing, visuals coordination, publishing (blogs, customer stories, newsletters, short videos when relevant)
build Seafar’s thought leadership together with our CEO and internal experts (positioning, narratives, points of view, ghostwriting support)
translate complex technology and regulatory context into clear, credible stories for non-technical audiences
set up a light but effective marketing cadence and toolkit (content calendar, templates, brand consistency, basic analytics)
support sales with practical assets (one-pagers, presentations, product sheets, customer-ready explainers)
work with external partners when needed (design, video, PR, web development) and keep quality high
What makes this role unique
you are the first marketer at Seafar, so your work will shape how the market sees us
you’ll work close to the leadership team and directly with product, operations and sales
you’ll market a real innovation with real impact in a conservative industry, so clarity and trust matter more than hype
What we offer
a key role in a fast-growing, innovative maritime technology company
a high degree of ownership and autonomy, with short decision lines
a team that values innovation, customer focus, quality, perseverance, and growth
Job requirements
around 3 years of experience in B2B marketing, content marketing, communications, or a similar role
strong writing skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
proven ability to build content that feels credible and human, not “corporate”
hands-on experience with website CMS and basic SEO principles
comfort working in a technical environment and asking the right questions to engineers and operators
a proactive mindset: you like creating structure where there is none yet, and you enjoy ownership
pragmatic execution combined with a good feel for brand and storytelling
