Allign (and adjust when necessary) the strategic HR planning & budget to achieve the business goals
Initiate, coordinate, support and manage organizational changes in coordination with Louis, the CEO and Zia, CTOO

Develop, execute and oversee the entire recruitment strategy with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to attract top talent and generate continuous inflow
Address and resolve all employees’ issues when they arise
Pro-actively develop programs and initiatives to boost your colleagues’ wellbeing and engagement with the Manu, the QHSE-manager

Create and update the HR policy-flow and necessary procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Ensure that Seafar complies with all labor laws and regulations, identify and mitigate risks related to HR practices and employee relations
⏫ Perseverance
Manage a competitive salary structure and compensation package
Monthly management of payroll and payroll-related issues with SD Worx (knowledge of SD Selfservice and SD Payroll are a plus)
Oversee the optimalisation and administration of employee benefits programs, fleet, insurance, ...
(Re) Design and integrate a sustainable performance appraisal systems to assess and improve employee performance, establish regular feedback mechanisms and performance reviews to support all of your colleagues’ development

Design and facilitate the growthpath of your colleagues ensuring they have the resources and support needed to perform their roles effectively
Implement leadership development programs to build the capabilities of the future leaders of Seafar
Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance your colleagues’ skills and career development
Job requirements
✅ Can you check off these boxes?
You have a master's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law or a related field
At least 10 years' experience in a similar position
Excellent knowledge of Belgian employment law, preferably within the logistics sector (blue & white collar)
Professional excellence in Dutch and English (French is an extra asset)
Good knowledge of SD Worx Self-Service and Payroll
You are independent, organised and have a pragmatic approach
Strong communication skills and diplomacy, with the ability to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
You are very hands-on and can adapt your priorities depending on the changing needs of a start-up environment
